We exist to help people find God, grow their faith, discover their purpose, and restore their hope.
Pool of Bethesda is a non-profit religious organization working to alleviate human suffering around the world through ministry and service. For about two decades, we have been ministering to the Greater Boston area from Everett, Malden, Chelsea, Somerville, and more. Many of the people we serve are caught in the pockets of poverty and, as a result, are living in despair. To alleviate this problem, we provide aid and assistance to the neediest communities, restoring hope and bringing people closer to God.
Mission
Our central mission here at Pool of Bethesda is to reach people with a message of hope, faith, and love as we also endeavor to empower our communities and provide testimony of God’s goodness in their lives. We seek to fulfill this calling to continue the ministry of Jesus by:
- Exalting God
- Exercising Prayer
- Evangelism in our communities
- Pushing our members towards spiritual maturity
- Encouraging friendship and relationship building
Vision
Our vision is to reach the lost and broken and to minister and serve them with the utmost level of dignity and respect. We aim to become the voice and hand that imparts spiritual truths and enables people to not only know God’s word but to experience His graces and mercies in their daily lives as well.
Our Values
Our core values of Love, Glory to God, and Compassion are at the center of everything we do here at Pool of Bethesda. We use them as our guiding principles to nurture personal beliefs and attitudes that can allow all to find meaning through life’s journey.
